It was with the utmost reluctance that the management of Archelaus consented to this blog in the first place, given the subversive proclivities of our employees. Those who were permitted to participate in the potentially dangerous experiment are listed below.

Alethea Oglethorpe

Representing management and its inherently authoritarian tendencies, Ms. Oglethorpe was responsible for maintaining order and discipline. Being fierce as well as beautiful, she was well qualified for this role.

Dr. Allardyce Hurlbutt

A noted historian, writer, and man-about-town, Dr. Hurlbutt is an expert on names, odd happenings, and peculiar things generally. He authored the Highly Peculiar Online Calendar (now no longer updated) that bears his name.

Dr. Hurlbutt contributed a wide variety of exclusively peculiar content to this blog.

Cadwalader Crabtree

As chief card designer for Archelaus, Cadwalader cannot be regarded as entirely well balanced. He is thus rarely allowed out without a tether.

T. Gaius "Caligula" Smith

Our notoriously irrascible web designer Caligula is responsible for creating and maintaining the Archelaus site — which should tell you all you need to know about him right there.

Unfortunately, he never got around to contributing anything to the blog.
